That’s me in my mama’s hot shoes, my $3 vintage dress, and my supa-dope headband, which is actually a hand-made necklace crafted by an artisan in Accompong Town, Jamaica. That town was also the home of Nanny of the Maroons, a woman whose story embodies the Radical Self-Expression mindset I explore and express on this blog.
What about you? What do you wear, or think of, or say, when you are feeling particularly radical? How do you show up when you are prepared to fully express yourself?
Those questions are what I explore on this blog and in my work. I want to know what women do to remind themselves that their voices and their needs matter.
If you consider yourself radical in how your mindset and more importantly, in your actions, and you are looking to nurture that radical self in every aspect of your life, then I feverishly write for you. For us.
I write from the spaces of my Old Woman Self and my Inner Little Girl, and I write to communicate with those particular spaces within you.

This is where I share the experiences and images that remind me what it means to be free.
I’m on that Nanny of the Maroons type of flow, and my tools of the trade include a process
of self-inquiry and unfiltered exploration that I call RADICAL SELF-EXPRESSION.
My passion for this process came out of my experiences being raised among women who lived in muted emotional spaces. The result was that they accepted and consistently attracted unhealthy relationships with others and themselves. They had gotten the level of “stuck” that can cause a woman to let her spirit die. Do you know what that kind of stuck feels like?
Thankfully, some of those women eventually got free, and learned how to prioritize their own needs and expectations. Seeing women I loved transition from hurting to healed inspired me to seek out the process behind that type of authentic freedom, so that I could apply it to my own life, and eventually to the lives of others.
Currently, that “others” includes my two daughters, my friends and family, and women like you (or one you know) who entrust me with pieces of their journey through my Big Gives:
VOICE LESSONS COACHING (Individual, virtual, 2-session minimum, 8-session maximum)
WORKSHOPS + INTERACTIVE LECTURES (for conferences, women’s wellness events, retreats)
PERSONAL RETREATS (Where we do intense work around radical self-expression)
BIO MOJO (This is where I un-blah your professional bio)
I write books and guest posts that are the foundation for my live talks and workshops about how to ditch the myth of work-life balance and other such bullshit. As a mother of two daughters, and a wife of a fellow entrepreneur and believer in self-expression, I know what it means to walk the talk of a busy life and audacious, heart-felt goals.
